Ranalli's is one of my favorite neighborhood bars! The atmosphere is always great both inside and on their amazing patio! The food is one of my favorite of all the 4C bars. The pizza and meatballs are my favorite. They also have gluten free pizza! My friends and I come here weekly, so I highly recommend it. Only disappointment is that we have had awful service, but most of the time it's decent.
**They also have an amazing rewards program** -

I like Ranalli's. It's a local hangout, the pizza is good, the prices are fair, and it has a very nice outdoor eating area. In the heart of Lincoln Park, it's also easy walking distance from the Zoo and - despite usually being full of typical Chicago sports bar denizens - is good for families.
Speaking of family places, here's my beef: even though it caters to a family crowd, and even though it offers 50 or so beers (on tap and packaged), together with a full bar, it can't be bothered to offer even one non-alcoholic beer option. So, if you're trying to "pace yourself," or cutting back on alcohol, too bad; have a soda. Pregnant? Drink water. A non-drinker, going out with drinking friends? No way to fit in.
I've raised this issue with Ranalli's staff in the past, and been shrugged off. So, it's time to call it out on Yelp; please get on board with the times and offer some non-soda, non-alcoholic, options. -

My wife and I were on a long weekend vacation in Chicago and ended up near Wrigleyville. It was a super hot day and I could use a cold beer. We had walked 12 miles by then.
These guys had it. Super fun bartender that was interacting with a lady at the bar. They were talking baseball. I ordered an IPA. I laughed to myself more than 10 times I think.
It was delicious. The setting was perfect. I had an awesome lady on my left sipping on a water, an IPA and a fun spot.
I ordered one more IPA and we were off, but it was an awesome place. -

Pizza was fantastic! We sat outside and it was very fun. I enjoyed my bloody mary. I didn't eat this but apparently the meatballs and the salad with chicken was also great. Fun neighborhood joint.

We ordered the pepperoni pizza and meatball pizza. Both were very solid. The size and flavor of the pepperoni slices were a huge plus, and the meatball pieces had a lot of flavor. The crisp of the pizza and sauce also complemented each other nicely. Next time I am in Chicago, I will definitely come back and try some of their other food. The patio atmosphere was quite pleasant and fun, and that, combined with the food, made the experience an overall great time!
